Baptized:

to be fully submerged

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

John 3:5

ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost

Acts 1:5

Repent (turn from one's wicked ways, 2 Chronicles 7:14), and be baptized (fully submerged in the water) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ (Why?) for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38

Remission:

Forgiveness; pardon

If you have been baptized, how were you baptized?

(in what way)

John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on CHRIST JESUS. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the LORD JESUS.

Acts 19:4-5

The people who are baptized in the name of JESUS are fully submerged in the name of JESUS; not in the name of a: nation, race, ethnicity, tribe, religion, denomination, religious organization, church, preacher, teacher, prophet, pastor, cleric, priest, rabbi, corporation, culture, movement, brand name, fashion designer, tradition, holiday, political party, sports team or celebrity because; Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 4:12

I discern the DIVINE manifestation of GOD's grace. The HOLY SPIRIT will not be restrained. Where do you find my name on this website? What does my name matter? thou shalt call HIS name JESUS: (What does the name 'JESUS' mean?)

for HE shall save HIS people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21

Remember,

Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Matthew 15:13-14

And again,

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou ME.

John 21:21-22

Moreover,

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the NAME of the LORD of hosts.

1 Samuel 17:45

JESUS teaches,

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of ME.

John 5:39

Let us continue our walk:

The word, baptized, in the Holy Bible, is referring to one being fully submerged in water; representing a spiritual rebirth.

See John 3:3,

Jesus answered...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 3:6

I did not choose to be born of my natural parents; who are flesh, but I have to choose to be born of my spiritual parent; JESUS; who is a spirit.

Being baptized in the name of JESUS means that one is fully submerged in the water and a prayer to JESUS is offered up for the soul that has made the decision for CHRIST. In addition, the name of JESUS is audibly declared over them. Something to the effect of, "I now baptize you in the name of JESUS," will suffice. The baptized believer understands that they are being obedient to GOD, by way of, the WORD OF GOD, and their sins are being forgiven; because JESUS gave himself as a sacrifice unto GOD, also in obedience unto GOD.

We see in Romans 5:19,

For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (JESUS) shall many be made righteous.

In reviewing Exodus Chapter 29; We learn that,

By HIS death, JESUS, who was without sin, became the HIGH PRIEST who offered HIS OWN blood as the sacrificial blood offering; an atonement, for our sins, unto GOD.

Atone:

[At and one] At one; together

to make compensation or amends.

See the Book Of Leviticus,

In addition to being the HIGH PRIEST, JESUS became what the High Priest, who were sinners themselves, would offer; the sacrificial blood and body that GOD required as a sin offering, burnt offering, peace offering, and wave offering.

1 John 1:7, the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. The burnt offering required fire. There was also a tabernacle in which these various holy ordinances-commandments would be performed and obeyed. In addition, GOD commanded the priests to use oil for the wave offering. Where is the fire? Where is the tabernacle? Where is the oil?

Abide with me a little longer,

See Exodus 3:2

the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire.

Judges 13:20

For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar.

Revelations 2:18

These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire.

Matthew 3:11

HE shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

Hebrews 9:11

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building.

John 12:3

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

John 12:7

against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

David speaks prophetically, concerning the LORD JESUS CHRIST, when he declares:

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me.

Psalms 40:6-7

Understand, JESUS is GOD;

THE FATHER, THE SON, THE HOLY GHOST, THE HIGH PRIEST, THE BLOOD OFFERING, THE BURNT OFFERING, THE SIN OFFERING, THE WAVE OFFERING, THE PEACE OFFERING, THE MORE PERFECT TABERNACLE, and THE FIRE that consumes the offerings. HIS Resurrection manifests and proves this, aforementioned, statement and HIS deity; being that no sacrifice ever got up from the dead.

Only GOD HIMSELF could do such a thing.

Friend, you have come this far, let us go all the way.

Again, to be baptized, in the name of JESUS, is a spiritual decision. One who is baptized, in the name of JESUS, is taking on the name of JESUS; as a bride takes on her husband's name; signifying the bride's submission to the husband alone and her being apart of a new family; under new management, as it were.

Review Matthew 25:10-12,

the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Moreover, the baptized in the name of JESUS believer, is electing to live their life, from that moment on, based on the principle of; what would please JESUS, rather than, what would please themself or anyone else. Herein is why prayer and communion with JESUS, at all times, is so vital; because the servant of JESUS needs to, at all times, check with JESUS on what would please JESUS, in every situation. Remember, The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.
